Our Story
Canvas Grove was born out of a simple but powerful need: to give children and teens a space to freely express themselves, explore their creativity, and connect with others through the arts.
In many communities, access to quality creative education is limited—especially during school breaks. We saw this gap and envisioned a space where imagination, play, and emotional expression could thrive outside the classroom. Set in the peaceful surroundings of Sampah Valley in Accra, Canvas Grove offers a safe, joyful, and inclusive environment where young people aged 10–18 can learn, create, and grow.
What began as a seasonal program has blossomed into a nurturing arts experience that supports social development, emotional wellness, and cultural pride. Through painting, drawing, bead-making, sculpture, and more, participants build confidence, explore identity, and find joy in their unique creative voice.
At Canvas Grove, we believe creativity is not a luxury—it’s a lifeline. And every child deserves the chance to explore it.
Creative Arts and Crafts
Kids dive into drawing, painting, bead-making, and sculpting—exploring their imagination through vibrant, hands-on projects using a variety of materials
Storytime and Literacy
Through interactive stories, poetry, and themed reading circles, kids develop language skills, spark imagination, and foster a lifelong love of reading.
Outdoor Play and Exploration
Guided nature walks, games, and open-air art sessions help children stay active, build teamwork, and connect with the natural world.
Music and Movement
Lively rhythm games, singing, drumming, and free movement sessions help children express themselves, improve coordination, and build confidence through sound and motion.
